Apply for a Grant

Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from
The Cosmopolitan Club of Philadelphia Giving Circle (CCPGC)

The Giving Circle is excited to announce that the focus area for its 2026 grant will be  issues of food insecurity as they impact women and children in the City of Philadelphia, including food production, preparation, access and distribution. A single grant of $50,000 will be awarded in May 2026.

The Philadelphia Foundation:
CCPGC has established a donor-advised fund with the Philadelphia Foundation, a well-known and trusted community philanthropic and financial partner which serves as the administrator of our fund as well as providing guidance to the CCPGC leadership.

Selection Process:
Each year, CCPGC Members choose a focus area for the grant. We then solicit grant applications from nonprofits working in the selected areas of focus. A grants committee reviews all the proposals and may make site visits. Finalists will be selected to make presentations to the full CCPGC membership who will then vote and decide which organization will receive the grant.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant organizations must provide services to women and children within the City of Philadelphia and have food as a primary focus of services. The organization must have a 501(c)(3) public charity exempt status from the IRS.
